Wired trashes Verizon smartphone line-up

In a new article by Wired Magazine, writer Priya Ganapati trashes the Verizon smartphone line-up by posing the question “Why does the U.S. carrier known for the best network have the worst smartphones?”.

From the article:
“They lack the star products that their competitors have,” says Avi Greengart, research director, consumer devices for Current Analysis. “They recognize they don’t have compelling devices right now but feel they can make up for it with network quality.

    If Apple really approached Verizon with the iPhone and Verizon refused then I’m sad to say I’m a Verizon customer. We’ll always have the best coverage but I agree with Priya that our smartphones will be crippled unless Verizon wises up.
